thickening hair?

I have asked this question a few different times but I repeat it because I always recieve different answers. Has anyone ever experienced their hair becoming thinner due to hairloss from extensions? This happened to me a little over a year ago, and my hair is still recovering. I would just like to hear about other people's experiences & how long it took for them to notice that their hair was thickening up & becoming back to normal. Also, does anyone have any recommendations for thickening products? I use nexxus volumizing shampoo & conditioner, thicker,fuller hair revitalizing shampoo & conditioner & I am going to try Mane & Tail and Body shampoo tonight. Any other recommendations? shampoo/conditioner or other hair products? I also take Futurebiotics hair skin & nails and a GNC multivitamin for women, but I am going to try Nourish hair. Any feedback would be great!
